The transition through perimenopause and menopause can affect your sleep, mood, energy, sexual health, bladder function, pelvic floor health, bone health, and overall quality of life.Our Comprehensive Menopause Care Program provides a thorough assessment and individualized treatment plan through a series of three appointments designed to help you understand your symptoms, optimize your health, and develop a long-term strategy for healthy aging.

Program Overview
Visit 1 - Menopause Intake Assessment

Your journey begins with a 30-minute consultation with a Nurse Practitioner who has specialized training in menopause care. This appointment may be completed either in person or virtually, depending on your preference.

During this visit, we will:

·        Review your medical history and current health concerns
·        Discuss symptoms related to perimenopause and menopause
·        Assess the impact of symptoms on your daily life, sleep, mood, sexual health, and overall well-being
·        Review current medications and relevant health conditions
·        Discuss treatment options, including hormonal and non-hormonal therapies
·        Develop an initial management plan tailored to your needs

When appropriate, additional testing may be initiated, including:

·        Blood pressure measurement
·        Heart rate assessment
·        Weight assessment
·        Laboratory testing to evaluate hormonal status
·        Blood work to assess thyroid function, iron levels, metabolic health, cardiovascular risk factors, or other health concerns that may contribute to symptoms


Visit 2 - Comprehensive Menopause and Pelvic Health Consultation

Your second appointment is conducted with a physician specializing in vulvar and menopausal health. This visit focuses on the physical and pelvic health changes that commonly occur during menopause and includes a detailed assessment of vaginal, vulvar, urinary, and pelvic floor health.

During this visit, we will:

·        Review your symptoms and health history
·        Review any investigations completed following your initial assessment
·        Assess your response to treatments or hormone therapy initiated after your first visit
·        Perform a gynecologic examination, when appropriate
·        Complete a Vaginal Health Index assessment to evaluate vaginal tissue health
·        Perform a pelvic floor assessment
·        Identify factors that may contribute to urinary symptoms, pelvic floor dysfunction, vaginal discomfort,or sexual health concerns
·        Discuss strategies to maintain and optimize pelvic floor and vaginal health

Personalized recommendations may include:

·        Menopausal hormone therapy optimization
·        Vaginal estrogen therapy
·        Non-hormonal treatment options
·        Pelvic floor physiotherapy
·        Vaginal laser therapy
·        Sexual health interventions
·        Bladder health strategies
·        Lifestyle and wellness recommendations


Visit 3 - Long-Term Menopause Health Planning

Your final appointment is a 30-minutetelephone follow-up designed to bring together the findings and recommendations from your previous visits.

During this consultation, we will:

·        Review your progress and response to treatment
·        Discuss any remaining questions or concerns
·        Refine your treatment plan as needed
·        Develop a personalized long-term strategy for menopause and healthy aging
·        Review recommendations for symptom management, pelvic health, bone health, cardiovascular health, sexual wellness, and preventive care

Following this appointment, you will receive a personalized Menopause Health Summary outlining your long-term care plan and recommendations. This document serves as a practical roadmap to support your health and well-being throughout menopause and beyond.
